Filtered Dijet Simulation

Request TypeEvent generator simulation, with filtering

Description

Simulation request for Dijets in 200 GeV pp collisions for run 2009. The request is for 2.51 MB events which satisfy dijet filters at both the simulation and reconstruction stage. The simulation filter places cuts on the generated events which require dijets with

starsim filter:

1. both jet |eta| < 1.3
2. delta phi > 2
3. max pt > 10.0
4. min pt > 7.0
5. dijet M > 10.0

bfc filter:

At least one of the BJP1, AJP or BHT3 triggers is satisfied.

Additional software needed for the request:

StPythiaEvent - needed to write events rejected by BFC filter
StTriggerFilterMaker - filter in BFC for trigger
Upgrade of PYTHIA to fix PYTUNE
