 II. Brief Summary and/or Action Items:

  0) Attendency: Bedanga, Xin, Jerome, Jamie, Scott, Huan, Nu, Bill, Gene

  1) RUn11 data process: 19.6 data production will start next week

  2) Deputy Primary Responsibilities: (a) Jamie: focuses/oversees on operation related issues, e.g. preparation for BUR, shifts, and period coordinators; 

      (b) Scott: working closely with PAC, focuses on spin physics related issues including talks, proceedings and publications;

      (c) Bedanga: focuses/oversees on HI data analysis and publication related issues.

      All of us will work closely, openly among ourselves including the PAC.

     eSTAR leaders will join the management meeting once per month to discuss the progress in that direction.

  3) Shift and Author List: Jerome will prepare a pakage including the top three hit list, proposed time for the Council. We expect Ok from the    council. 

  4) Analysis Meeting: Xin will confirm the invited speakers. Nu:forward the recent online-registration info to the collaboration.

               1) New team fornext term is ready. In Council discussion.

               2) Run11 production priorities: (1) AuAu 19.6 and 27 GeV; (2) AuAu 200GeV, HT, HLT triggered; (3) pp500 GeV 50% / AuAu 200 GeV MB 50%.

               3) FGT status:   2 quardrents, with spacer-grid, end of this week, July 15th. cosmic ray test at bnl, in the week of July 18

                  // all assembly progress well //  rest of the orders are out. By Aug. 15, all 12 quadrants, all materials will be ready. // Production of

                 whole 24 quadrants will be continued till all completed, by mid-December. // Schedule: not role out the STAR till Aug. 27th. // Bill prefers to roleout,

Filtered Dijet PYTHIA in pp500

Request TypeSimulated background embedding (generator with real data as background for noise / pile-up studies)
Description

This request is for trigger and partonic filtered pythia events to be embedded in zerobias events. 

There are 12 CKIN bins requests ranging from 4 - 75 partonic pT.

Please note this geometry should be y2009g but this option is not currently available
