Minutes:

Petr - update on K->3pi. Based on the the track and hit visualisation it seems that the previously observed high efficiency for matching the mother kaon to the decay vertex in th inactive parts of the TPC is caused by traccker picking up additional hits which prolong the track beyond the decay vertex. The KFPF is then unable to match the track when trying to project it forward hence the decrease in the efficiency.

GMT- David has changed the order of commands in BFC which likely removed the previously seen problem.

Robert - The comparisons between his and DIma's embedding shows same results. Now the question is if there is a possible difference in real data. Robert was ask to run his code on the data that Dima previously reprocessed for his study.

Minutes:

GMT - David is looking into the number of clusters produced by the cluster maker. It seem that the maker is run multiple times in the chain. This could explain the difference between dev and .DEV2.

Robert has rerun the code from Dima including embedding, but sees a difference (see presentation). The only difference seema to be that Dima has run his own data production. However that does not seem as a plausible explanation. It was suggested for Robert to run his code on the embedding that Dima used previously to see if there is also the difference.

Meeting ID: 161 566 6680
Passcode: fSTAR-f2f

sTGC:

- will ship the iTPC monitors to monitor transportation to Chi
- make the testing procedures for production FEEs and FEB more explicit
- meet wit hRahul to go through all the schedule for the shutdown
- add milestones for the safety reviews in the schedule

- define the goals for the sTGC test with beam and manpower needs
I’m getting less and less convinced something gets learnt from this, with the exception of the gassystem

- need to develop labeling scheme and physical lables for the sTGC
suggestion use station quadrant and channels and then make clear this is detector FEB, roc side of the cable
- need to schedule with CAD to check the connections and fix them so the  BRISK controller works fine.

Slowcontrol:

- need a to-do list what still needs to be finalized

Summary Action items:

FST:

- get a thermal camera to take pictures of the cooling in action
- get a tooling to put the soft tubes on the modules
extreme care needs to be exercised
- need to understand the CMN and differential Noise deviation from the measured noise better
the idea is to have 4 time bins to subtract the common mode noise.
- the interference between fSTAR installation and the iTPC/TPC repair needs to be clarified.

FCS:

- plan for timing setup: we take 1 to 2 days of the O-O running to change the latency by one bunch for the full system,
if all works we leave it in, if not we all think and come back to it at the end of the run in July
—> need to talk to the trigger group
- need to think how we make sure that the power supplies for the EPD splitter are always on or run with the EPD so there is no interference
—> need to integrate this requirement in the slowcontrol

- trigger:
leave some trigger bits open for defining triggers for HI related pp topics.
need to discuss the OO-run plan in the star OPS management meeting and in the triggerboard meeting

Software:
- new plots on tracking performance (resolution and charge separation)
