               1) Prepare for 27 GeV Au+Au run starting June 20th. Jamie will present the STAR case next Tuesday.

               2) S&T review: (from Steve) Forcus on (i) data taking efficiency; (ii) Decadal Plan strategy. Updated DP isdue May 2012; (iii) DOE support institutes to

                   participate in STAR operations.

               3) Deputy and PAC candidates. Nu is working on these.

1)    Trainor issue: ask him to apologize. Nu should send the message. What should we do if he does not???

 

2)    Run11: FTP is in. The protection system is in, working on the overall efficiency. // June 29, 8am. Stop the operation. Magnet will be off on 30th. People can go home then.// Shift taking issues: management should take action to reduce the number of authors for those institutes who repeated have not full filled  // flip the magnet polarity done; special calib. data for TOF.  // At the end, may be UU collisions, 5 GeV collisions for two days. // 

 

3)    pAu data QA issue:  the data did not discussed in the PWG, the talk was not posted in startalk-list. Conveners did not approve the DIS talk. // The data was shown in QM2011. // Clear case of direct violation the STAR pub policy. // Fuqiang or Joern should have called Chris. //  Nu call Fuqiang and Joern to find the real situation.  Proceedings.

 

4)    QM2011 proceedings: June 15th drafts reach PWG; one week for PWG approval; June 30th is the conference deadline.

 

5)    Run7 data status: ncq scaling of v2.PWG discussions.

 

6)    Nu: PAC talk, will be ready soon. Needs input from FGT group.

 

7)    Nu; Working on new spokesperson office, by July 15th.

I have been trying to estimate the LED intensity variation on a run by run basis. The basic idea is to divide cells into different groups in which they are connected to a single LED pulser.
