              2) New items: a) Tribble subcommittee efforts. BNL rehersal during Sept. 4-5, 2-160; b) thin, small Be beampipe arrived at BNL;

                 c) time for management meetings: two possibities: (i) Wednesday 11-12 EDT (ii) Friday 12-13 EDT. TBD soon.

              3) HLT discussion, Aihong: a) many physics topics with HLT; b) needs new dedicated computers, could re-use some from rcf; c) manpower issues

              4) iTPC upgrade: will be discussed next week

             II. Brief Summary and action Items:

              1) Participants: Xin, Flemming, Jerome, Gene, Huan, Scott, Bedanga, Huan

              2) Run13: at the moment, budget alows a 15 cryo-week run, meaning 10-week for physics. Duringthe Spokes meeting, Steve

                  also suggested that we may run 14.6GeV Au+Au collisions for both PHENIX and STAR instead of 200 GeV. Need check for

                  statistics need for the BES program at the energy and HFT commissioning needs.

              3) QM2012 preparation: i) BES results: 7.7/11.5/39 GeV; ii) Posters are behind the plan. Some will be printed outside BNL;

                  iii) Missing few talks including a plenary one. Attention needed on physics messages, will get more help to strengthen the physics

                  messages from the collaboration as a whole.

              4)  HFT review: (Flemming) Review went very well. Tasks: i) QA; ii) SSD. Needs  a new tech.

              5) White Paper: (Bedanga) Outlines are in shape, and we are collecting physics plots.
